Vladimir Putin said, during a meeting with members of the House of the Federation Council, that the legislation introduced last summer and dubbed as the “Russian SOPA,” has failed to meet its objectives.“Even after we have adopted these solutions for intellectual property protection in the field of cinema, recent analysis has shown that it does not work as effectively as we expected,” Putin said.

For Yahoo 21,425 requests regarding 32,493 accounts were received.

BBM has 113 million registered and 85 million monthly users is one of the most popular messaging service in the world but since it is limited to Blackberry devices it poses restrictions to other users and to increase its user base the company has decided to make it available for some Nokia phones.Initially BBM was supposed to be an advantage for Balckberry users but since the number of Balckberry users are decreasing the company decides for BBM to extend to other mobile phones.Not only that BBM will also be available on windows platform.
